When Chai meets toast
‘When Chai Met Toast’ is a four member band that is known for their refreshing and light music. The band are extremely versatile and create music in Hindi and English and even feature Tamil and Malayalam lyrics. Some of the popular songs of the group are “Khoj”, Beautiful World, Run Closer, Joy of Little Things among others.
With relatable lyrics and soothing music, Dream Note has captured the hearts of many with their songs. However, the group has yet to receive the love it deserves. Formed by Gaurav Tiwari and Sachin Singh in 2014, the group now consists of six members. The songs “Tere Janey Ke Baad”, Waqt ki baatein and Na Kehna Tum are very popular among her listeners.
Singer-songwriter Osho Jain is known for his moving lyrics and music that beautifully captures human emotion. The independent artist has a loyal following and has created some amazing songs which include Khush To Hai Na, Tu Aisa Kaise Hai? among others.
The yellow newspaper
The musical group ‘The Yellow Diary’ has a song for every mood and the lyrics are often uplifting. The five-member group consists of Rajan Batra, Himonshu Parikh, Vaibhav Pani, Stuart DaCosta and Sahil Shah with the aim of creating poetry-inspired tracks.
The regional train
Formed in 2008, The Local Train features four band members which include vocalist, lyricist and guitarist Raman Negi, lead electric guitarist Paras Thakur, bassist Ramit Mehra and drummer and percussionist Sahil Sarin. The band’s indie rock music has been adored by their fans. Despite several hit songs, the group has yet to receive the credit it deserves.
The lyrics of the song “Ghar” by musical artist Bharat Chauhan perfectly describes the emotions of a heartbroken person. However, neither the artist nor the song received the hype they deserved.
Based in Delhi, Twin Strings is a four-member band known for their insightful lyrics and tasteful renditions. Some of his popular songs include Dhalti Rahe, Tujhse Hoti Hai Subha and Doorie.
