Twitch now pays independent artists when their music is played

Twitch had licensed over one million tracks from independent artists which can now be played during live streams.

These offers are for recorded music that has been cleared to play during live streams. This is different from the live streaming rights fees that Twitch and other live streamers pay to ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, SACEM and other PROs.
