Last Scene Films founder Alhamoud and executive producer Abumansour will now report to Alaa Fadan, CEO of Telfaz11.
Saudi entertainment group Telfaz11 has acquired independent Riyadh-based production house Last Scene Films in a deal stepping up its shift into feature film production.
Founded in 2017 by Mohammed Alhamoud, Last Scene Films produced the short films Silah and Ertidadboth of which traveled to international festivals, while his feature debut Last visit (2019), directed by Abdulmohsen Aldhabaan, became the first Arab film selected for the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival’s East of the West competition and won the Jury Prize at the 2019 Marrakech International Film Festival.
Wael Abumansour joined the company as Executive Producer in 2020 and has developed a wide range of genre-focused films including Four Acts of Disruptionwhich won development funding from the Red Sea International Film Festival.
Alhamoud and Abumansour will now join the Telfaz11 fold, reporting to CEO Alaa Fadan. They will continue to oversee the day-to-day development and production roster of Last Scene Films, which will now expand, as well as managing the Telfaz11 film festival strategy.

Telfaz11 previously struck a deal with Netflix to develop and produce an eight-film slate for the service.
