Creative San Antonians who embrace all that is monstrous, ghastly, and scary – and look to scare dumb people this Halloween season – now have their chance, thanks to a local independent film festival.
Terror High Film Fest, a non-profit festival organized by the Association of Creative Multimedia Partners that celebrates shorts in the horror genre, calls on all filmmakers in the San Antonio area to submit their shorts for the second annual festival of the horror movie.
There’s no charge for filmmakers to enter their ghoulish masterpieces, but – so as not to freeze your blood – the submission deadline of October 10 is just around the corner.
This year’s virtual festival, slated for October 23, is a free community event, with all of the films showing live online.
The “categories” in which filmmakers can submit their masterpieces include:
- Short feature films, 26-59 minutes
- Short films, 10-25 minutes
- Great short films, less than 10 minutes
Filmmakers can submit their work on the Terror High website under the Submit a Film tab or at www.filmfreeway.com/TerrorHighFilmFestival.
More details on the bizarre film festival will be released soon. Follow Terror High Film Fest on Instagram for updates.
