We are delighted to announce the launch of Network of independent film sites (IFSN), a collaboration between reputable media covering the most essential developments in independent and international cinema. IFSN, which represents The Film Stage, nailing hammer, IONCINEMA.com, RogerEbert.comand Screen anarchywas created with a mission to support film criticism and foster an ever-growing community of independent film enthusiasts.

In the ever-changing landscape of cinema and film criticism, the very definition of ‘independent’ is changing and it’s our mission to work with venues and distributors that still maintain that singular focus on the best in cinema. With Indie Film Site Network, we are thrilled to provide a destination for distributors and filmmakers where they know they will truly reach the most passionate fans of independent films.

Through reviews, interviews, podcasts, news, special features and extensive coverage from film festivals around the world to theatrical, digital and home video releases, ENSI has a combined reach of over 7 million visitors per month. With a dedicated audience across each site as well as their respective social media channels, ENSI offers premium partnership opportunities for distributors and filmmakers, with affordable packages that connect to the heart of the independent film community. Thanks to this cooperation, each medium retains its editorial independence and readers benefit from a more favorable advertising experience, highlighting the films they will like thanks to an approach organized in partnership with distributors. Post-launch, the network plans to expand into hosted screenings to directly connect its readership to exceptional cinema.

To celebrate the launch of ENSI, we’re also giving away Blu-rays from The Criterion Collection, Kino Lorber, Warner Archive, and more. Walk in, complete our survey and the winners will be contacted as and when. Prizes ship to the US only, but everyone is welcome to complete the survey.

The IFSN team is made up of founders Jordan Raup, publisher and co-founder of The movie scene; Eric Lavallée, publisher and founder of IONCINEMA.com; and Director of Sales Matt Delman, Founder and Director of Digital Marketing Agency 3rd printing and an editor at nailing hammer.

“I have long admired the contributions of our media partners and their commitment to championing ambitious filmmaking. We look forward to collaborating on new projects aimed both at an already dedicated audience as well as the next generation of cinephiles,” Lavallee said.

“Roger was an advocate for independent voices in both film and film criticism. It gives me great joy to continue this legacy on a daily basis at RogerEbert.com and to support other outlets that contribute to keep that independent spirit alive,” said Chaz Ebert, CEO of Ebert Digital LLC and co-founder of Ebertfest.

In a first phase, ENSI has already teamed up with top distributors on successful campaigns for Oscar nominees (Macbeth’s Tragedy), acclaimed foreign cinema (Neptune Frost, Wheel of Fortune and Fantasy, Take the road, Great Freedom, In front of your face Martin Eden), famous documentaries (Free Chol Soo Lee, Agent Mole, Boys State, Feels Good Man) and independent hits (Baby Shiva, Dinner in America, Possessor).
